Your input is the most important step in the process for us to meet your expectations and needs. We will explore your aesthetic preferences, lifestyle, and the specific atmosphere you want to create. This step allows us to tailor our recommendations to your individual style, blending our expertise with your preferences.

3. DESIGN CONSULTATION

By the time we arrive at your consultation, we will have a complete understanding of your vision, needs, and style. The consultation will be focused on what you need most. We will collaborate on your project to narrow down your choices so that by the end of the consultation, you will have what you need to begin your project.

Designer Notes: After the consultation, we provide you with all our designer notes and any shopping links for items we collaborated on. We also provide any sketches, layouts, or drawings that were created during the consultation in addition to a project checklist.

Designer assessment of your needs, requirements, and budget for the project
Recommendations to narrow down furnishing and finish selections
Collaboration with designer to build a framework for your project
Paint color samples from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore, if needed for your project
Sketches and layouts, if needed for your project
Personalized checklist to complete your project
All designer notes

CHOOSE THE FOCUS OF YOUR CONSULTATION:

Multi-room Walk-and-Talk to receive recommendations for each space of your house
Space planning to understand the best way to layout your space with furniture and remodels
Color Consultation to provide specific paint color selections
Feature wall design ideas
Designer's suggestions for products and finishes
Kitchen or bath sketches, layouts, and ideas for renovations and remodels.

TIMELINE: 1-2 WEEKS

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you provide contractor referrals?

I do not provide referrals for Design Consultations. My referrals are exclusively for my turnkey design packages.

Can I choose more than one focus for my consultation?

Yes. We can either split our time during the consultation or you can pay for additional time to cover everything you need help with.

Why is your fee higher than other design consultations?

Designers typically discuss your project over the phone and then schedule a time to come to your house to give you their best recommendations.

Our consultations are different in that after our call, we have you send us additional information so we can better prepare for your consultation. This step ensures our recommendations align with your style and preferences and gives you greater value for your investment.

The additional time means we need to charge more, but we believe the value you get from our process exceeds the increase in cost.
